Authors of selected conference papers will be invited to submit extended versions for publication in peer reviewed special issues of Fracture and Structural Integrity and Progress in Engineering Science.
Fracture and Structural Integrity encompasses the broad topic of structural integrity, which is based on the mechanics of fatigue and fracture and is concerned with the reliability and effectiveness of structural components. The aim of the Journal is to promote works and researches on fracture phenomena, as well as the development of new materials and new standards for structural integrity assessment. The Journal is interdisciplinary and accepts contributions from engineers, metallurgists, materials scientists, physicists, chemists, and mathematicians.
The Journal is completely free of charge, both for Readers and for Authors (no APC), and it is indexed (Scopus, WoS, etc).
Progress in Engineering Science is a hybrid, broad scope, international journal publishing articles in all fundamental, applied, and interdisciplinary areas of engineering and accepts papers that are scientifically sound and of general interest. The journal also publishes manuscripts reporting negative/null results, incremental advances, and replication studies.
The journal welcomes submissions on both theoretical and industrial aspects of engineering research including but not limited to biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, Industrial and manufacturing engineering, environmental engineering, and architectural and urban planning engineering.
